Eggonomics ("the App") is developed and operated by Taylor Roberts. This policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.

Information We Collect

When you use Eggonomics, we may collect and store the following information:

  • A unique user identifier
  • Your account balance and in-game progress
  • Your in-game inventory, such as eggs, upgrades and items
  • Authentication information provided by Sign in with Apple or other login providers
  • Basic technical information such as device type, app version and IP address for security and abuse prevention
  • Website analytics events, such as page views, navigation clicks, beta status interactions, social link clicks, newsletter signup attempts and press asset downloads
  • Email addresses submitted through the website mailing list form

We do not sell advertising data, collect precise location data, or collect personal profile information such as name unless it is provided through a login provider or mailing list signup.

How We Use Your Information

We use this information to provide and operate the game, save and restore progress, authenticate accounts, prevent cheating and abuse, maintain service stability and security, understand website usage, improve beta communications and manage the mailing list.

Data Storage

Your game data is stored on our servers so your progress can be restored and online features can function correctly. Website analytics events may be processed by PostHog and Vercel Analytics. Mailing list subscriptions may be processed by Buttondown.

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data.

Your data may be processed by service providers we use to operate the game and website, including hosting, analytics, error reporting and mailing list services.

Third-Party Services

Eggonomics may use Sign in with Apple and/or other login providers for authentication, PostHog and Vercel Analytics for website analytics, and Buttondown for mailing list subscriptions.

These services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Data Deletion

If you would like your account and associated data deleted, you can contact us and we will remove it from our systems.

Children's Privacy

Eggonomics is not specifically directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will remove it.
